FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
We're often asked the same questions about the Evryday BRUSH. We've put them all together here along with the answers. Is your question missing? Feel free to get in CONTACT.
-
The BRUSH is a hot brush that you use in dry hair. It makes your hair smooth, frizz free, and shiny. The brush is silent and doesn’t blow air or rotate. It's a must-have tool for styling your hair exactly how you want it.
-
BRUSH stands for Beautiful Radiant Unbelievable Shiny Hair.
-
The BRUSH heats up to 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit). We therefore recommend wearing the glove provided. It's possible for the glove to be inside out in the packaging, so you may need to turn it the right way out for the best protection. The B.R.U.S.H. hot brush won’t cause any damage as long as your hair is fully dry when you use it.
-
The brush is equipped with MAK technology. MAK stands for Macadamia oil, Argan oil, and Keratin. This quickly gives the hair a lot of shine, reduces frizz, and makes it smooth. The brush is also equipped with Ionic technology. This neutralizes the positive ions in the hair, making it frizz free, smooth, and antistatic.
-
The paint supplier mixes the macadamia oil, argan oil, and keratin into the paint and sprays it on the aluminium cylinder. This takes about two weeks, and the added oils are about 2% of the total weight of the paint.
-
Of course they are. Here’s an SGS report* that proves it. The paint is mixed with ceramic, oils, and base paint. The red line represents the spectrum of the oil. The blue line shows the mixed paint. The several overlapping parts show that the mixed paint has the same measurements level as the oil.

The biggest difference is that a hairdryer blows warm air to dry your hair, and you use it when your hair is wet/damp. The B.R.U.S.H. is a hot brush that doesn’t blow warm air, and which you use in dry hair as a styling tool.
-
This depends on a variety of factors, such as the strength of your hair and the use of the brush. Practice makes perfect! We recommend you watch some inspiration videos on social media to help you get the results you want. It’s also good to apply a strengthening hairspray after using the B.R.U.S.H. in order to finish the look.
-
The BRUSH is suitable for all hair types. The BRUSH is also ideal for extensions or hair pieces, as long as they're made of 100% real hair.
-
The BRUSH comes in two sizes: 30 mm and 40 mm. The brush you choose should depend on your desired results. The thinner the brush, the more waves or curls you get when you rotate the brush. If you have really short hair, the 30 mm will work best. This is because it gives you more grip.
-
When the slider is at the bottom, the BRUSH is off. When the slider is in the middle, the brush turns on and is in neutral mode (you’ll see a red light). When the slider is at the top, the Ionic technology is activated (you’ll see a yellow/red light). It emits negative ions that neutralize the positive ions in your hair. This closes the hair cuticles and results in frizz-free, smooth, and shiny hair. It’s also great at controlling static hair.
-
No, the special technology is built into the cylinder of the brush so that your hair doesn’t get greasy, but just smooth, shiny, and polished.
-
You can't refill the oil because it’s mixed into the paint on the aluminium cylinder. After 4,000 uses, it’ll still be there, but it will gradually diminish. For example, if you use the BRUSH twice a day, the technology will last you more than five years.
-
Sometimes your hair might be too heavy or too weak, meaning that the style you do with the BRUSH doesn’t last as long as you want it to. Of course, that's a shame. If this is the case, we recommend applying a strengthening product to towel-dried hair. This can be a volume foam, volume spray, or sea salt spray, for example. Apply the desired product to your hair and dry it with a hairdryer. Then use the BRUSH hot brush to style your hair. You can choose to apply a finishing product after using the hot brush. This can be a strengthening hair spray, for example.
-
Regularly clean the brush, for example, once a week. This is hygienic and gives it a longer life.
Make sure to unplug the brush after use and let it cool down.
Carefully remove any loose hairs from the brush.
Then wipe the cylinder clean with a soft, light, damp cloth. Don’t scrub it.
Do not use abrasive cleaning products, as this can damage the coating.
Make sure that the brush is dry before you use it again.
